Our Founder named 2018 Local Leader Making a Difference by CoVaBiz

Our founder, Alexis Hionis, won an award for Coastal Virginia Biz’s Local Leader Making a Difference! Alexis has been the driving force behind RiseVB’s annual Beach Ball, which has raised almost $70K for local charities over the past 3 years, and has brought together young professionals looking to make a difference in our local community.

RiseVB is proud to have donated over $210k to local charities in the last 5 years & we're excited to raise more with our continuous fundraising efforts.
